Technology and Policy Fellow
Steve Caldwell is a Technology and Policy Fellow for the Pew Center on Global Climate Change where he works for the Vice President of Innovative Solutions. He has assisted stakeholders in the development of state and regional climate and energy policies, particularly the Western Climate Initiative and the Midwestern Greenhouse Gas Reduction Accord. In addition, he engages in Pew Center analytic work related to low-carbon technologies (especially for electricity generation), cap and trade, oil and gas, electric power sector policies, and economic and energy modeling.
Prior to joining the Pew Center, Mr. Caldwell spent several years working for private-sector consulting firms with project experience in the areas of information technology, supply chain operations, business strategy, and energy. Mr. Caldwell holds a master’s degree in public policy from Georgetown University and a B.A. in chemistry and physics from Harvard University.
