Andre de Fontaine
Markets and Business Strategy Fellow
Andre de Fontaine is a Markets and Business Strategy Fellow at the Pew Center on Global Climate Change. He works with the Center's Business Environmental Leadership Council (BELC), a group of 43 largely Fortune 500 corporations that have partnered with the Pew Center to address issues related to climate change. He also engages in Pew Center analytic work on climate-related markets and investment issues.
Prior to coming to the Pew Center, Mr. de Fontaine was a journalist in California, covering environmental policy in the state’s capital. While there, he wrote about a range of issues, including the state’s landmark efforts on climate change and renewable energy. Mr. de Fontaine holds a master’s degree in public policy from Georgetown University and a B.A. in political science from the University of California, San Diego.
