Jessica Shipley is a Solutions Fellow at the Pew Center on Global Climate Change where she assists the Vice President of Innovative Solutions on state-level policy and on agriculture and forestry related climate issues. She is also involved in researching and communicating technology solutions for reducing greenhouse gases in a variety of sectors and assisting with Pew policy work on forestry and agricultural offsets.
Ms. Shipley received her Masters in Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley, where she specialized in environmental and energy policy. Her graduate work included projects in state and local climate policy design, GHG and economic modeling, and transmission and renewable energy development. Prior to graduate school she worked in sustainable forest management certification. Ms. Shipley also holds a B.S. in Environmental Economics and a minor in Forestry from U.C. Berkeley.
