Colleen Kredell

Communications Project Coordinator

Colleen Kredell is a Communications Project Coordinator at the Pew Center on Global Climate Change. Ms. Kredell coordinates the Make An Impact program, a collaborative effort with the Alcoa Foundation to provide tools and resources for individuals to manage their carbon footprint, reduce energy costs, and become part of the solution to global climate change. The project includes the development of a carbon calculator and climate resources website, along with educational workshops with Alcoa employees, families, and communities throughout the country. 

Ms. Kredell comes to Pew with a background in both the environmental and communications sectors. She has previously worked in a research and marketing capacity for an international education provider in Alexandria, Virginia. Ms. Kredell also served as an intern for Bush Heritage Australia where she was responsible for developing a green office policy for their Melbourne headquarters and researched potential environmental management system opportunities for the organization and its reserves.

Ms. Kredell holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies from American University.
