Sara Moarif
International Fellow
Sara Moarif is an International Fellow at the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions. Her work includes tracking climate-related policy development internationally, researching international policy issues, and facilitating dialogue with governments and stakeholders. Before joining C2ES, Ms. Moarif worked as an energy and environment policy analyst at the International Energy Agency (IEA). Her work involved research and analysis of national and sectoral policy options for energy-related climate change mitigation, as well as of technical issues within international climate change negotiations as part of the OECD-IEA Climate Change Expert Group on the UNFCCC. She has also worked with the OECD’s Environmental Performance Review Programme, and as a reviewer for the UNFCCC Secretariat. Ms. Moarif holds a Master of Arts in International Relations from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques (Sciences-Po) in Paris, and a Bachelor’s degree in International Development from McGill University in Montreal.
