Communications Manager
Tom Steinfeldt is a Communications Manager with the Pew Center on Global Climate Change. He works with the Vice President of Communications to develop media strategies that best inform the global climate change debate. Mr. Steinfeldt is responsible for coordinating external communications, including press events, media inquiries, and press releases. He works with journalists to arrange interviews with key staff and provide credible information about key topics in a timely manner. Mr. Steinfeldt develops and manages content for the Pew Center's web site, writes and edits communications materials, and helps coordinate the distribution of a monthly e-newsletter.
Prior to joining the Pew Center, Mr. Steinfeldt worked as a government reporter and as an editor with a multimedia communications firm. Mr. Steinfeldt holds a Master's degree in Public Policy from George Mason University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from James Madison University.
