Paul Komor is a member of the graduate faculty at the University of Colorado, Boulder. He currently teaches in the Environmental Studies program and is an Associate Director of the University’s Energy Initiative. Prior to joining the University of Colorado, Paul was a Project Director at the U.S. Congress’ Office of Technology Assessment (OTA), where he researched and evaluated energy legislation. Paul’s recent book, Renewable Energy Policy, is required or recommended reading for energy courses at numerous Universities. In 2006 Paul was awarded the Stanford University MAP/Ming Visiting Professorship. Paul was named a contributor to the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize for his work with the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). Paul holds M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Stanford University, and a B.S. from Cornell University.
