Climate Change Targets
NextEra Energy, Inc achieved a 21 percent reduction in its greenhouse gas emissions rate in 2008 against a 2001 baseline. Its subsidiary Florida Power & Light Company now seeks a greenhouse gas intensity reduction of 27 percent from 2009 levels by 2024.
