POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT – Energy Efficiency Fellow
Pew Center on Global Climate Change, Arlington, VA
Starting Date: Early 2009
Duration: One-year term position (potentially renewable)
Position Description: The Pew Center seeks an Energy Efficiency Fellow to assist in the development of business and technology research initiatives focused on energy efficiency strategies. Principal duties will involve assisting with 1) the research phase of a new corporate energy efficiency project, 2) development of energy efficiency materials for the business and technology sections of the Pew Center’s Web site, and 3) research outreach and event coordination.

Status: Full-time. Salary commensurate with experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, environmental policy, engineering or related discipline. Graduate degree preferred but not essential
- Interdisciplinary understanding of climate change and energy issues (technology, politics, economics)
- Prior work experience in energy efficiency and/or corporate sustainability
- Top-notch writing, editing, research, and analytic skills. Experience with web materials a significant plus
- Advanced organizational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and pitch in at all levels
About the Pew Center on Global Climate Change:
