CME Group and Climate Change:
CME Group is one of the founding members of Green Exchange Holdings LLC, developing the Green Exchange venture as a platform for trading environmental commodities, including CO2 allowances, futures, and options on futures for emission products. It is intended that green products futures and options will be listed for trading as part of the Green Exchange venture once that venture has sought and achieved appropriate regulatory status.
