Reenergizing America's Defense details steps the armed forces are taking to address their energy use and carbon emissions. The Pew Project on National Security, Energy and Climate initiated this report to catalog current Department of Defense efforts to develop and deploy clean energy technologies and to reduce carbon emissions.
Ernst & Young commissioned an independent research organization to survey 300 global executives across 16 countries and 18 industries on their responses to climate change issues in 2010. Seventy percent of respondents said they will increase the amount of money they commit to climate initiatives over the next two years, with most of the money targeted at energy efficiency enhancements.
Alliance to Save Energy's report "Scaling-Up Energy Efficiency Programs: The Measurement Challenge," examines the issues and challenges facing evaluation, measurement and verification (EM&V) for energy efficiency programs. It calls for the development of consistent EM&V methodologies to enhance the accuracy, reliability and credibility of energy-savings measurement and program evaluation as well as increased stakeholder participation in the process.

The World Economic Forum's report, "Energy Vision Update 2010: Towards a More Energy Efficient World" explores the importance of energy efficiency to meet the world’s energy demands. It discusses the role of investment-grade energy efficiency, consumer behaviour and technological innovation as key elements to develop an appropriate infrastructure for energy efficiency.
